Role Summary: -
This is a full-time on-site role for FMCG - Regional Sales Manager (A.A) located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He/She responsible for developing and executing sales strategies for Lovegrass Ethiopia in line with company goals. The role requires building and managing relationships with existing and new distributors while leading and coaching the sales team to optimize performance. The FMCG - Regional Sales Manager (A.A) is a key member of the Lovegrass Ethiopia executive team and contributes to strategic decision-making.
Role Description: -
- Meet and exceed sales targets by generating sufficient demand and awareness of our brand and products and ensuring the upcountry potential clients are acquired and well served.
- Understand the geographic demarcation of our sales strategy and your designated area’s specific customer and marketing needs.
- Build a strong upcountry sales team through both internal team and external wholesaler and distributor collaboration.
- Build a clear sales plan, and a go-to-market strategy working in tandem with the marketing and commercial team.
- Help create a nurturing and efficient internal customer enablement and support (CRM) team.
- Build a strong collaborative environment across the company especially with the Addis Ababa sales team, marketing CRM and other members of the organization.
Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Business Administration, Management, Marketing or a related field
FMCG experience in sales operations, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
Proven track record of growing revenue and achieving sales targets
Experience in managing teams, with exceptional leadership and communication skills
Knowledge of sales data analysis, forecasting, and performance metrics, with the ability to use data to drive business decisions and improve processes
Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues, customers, and partners
Familiarity with the Ethiopian FMCG market and regulatory environment is preferred
Fluency in English and Amharic is required, with proficiency in other Ethiopian languages an asset
Demonstrated passion for social impact and sustainability
International, multi-national & FMCG experience is mandatory.
Experience in Food & beverage companies is preferred.
