• Job Summary

Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the driver transports employees, products and raw materials as well as other equipment with due consideration of the traffic rules and regulations

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures the safety and condition of the vehicle's body; controls the levels of motor and brake ails; ensures the proper level of water in the radiator and the battery;

• Ensure the proper functioning of the brake pedal and handbrake, windscreen wiper, lights and laps, chains, and clutch pedal;

• Drives the car with strict adherence to the regulations of the transport authority and the traffic rules;

• Transports employees/loads according to the daily schedule by ensuring that the rule for load weight adheres;

• Keeps the vehicle clean, and timely reports failures and problems to his supervisor; Receives and takes the proper clearances and issues/receipt tickets from the concerned bodies upon loading and unloading; 

• Uses the vehicle only for authorized tasks and purposes;

• Properly keeps and prefects toolkits;

• Accomplishes other activities as instructed by his supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Completion of 10th grade in the new education curriculum.

• 4th Grade valid driving license or equivalent and Eligible to drive FSR.

• Willingness to work over weekends and holidays.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in difficult environments

• High level of discipline

• Working knowledge of local roads and routes 

• Commitment to 54fmcg values and principles

Experience:

• 3+years experience in HR management activities.
