Job Description

Purpose of the Job:

The Regional Sales Manager leads a team of sales people, which includes, but not limited to, ASM, Key Account Manager and All Cash and Carry Store Managers and team].

Main Responsibilities

  • Regional managers determine the operational practices of all stores in the area, making sure each runs smoothly, cleanly, complies with marketing and sales campaigns and meets budget and sales goals.

  • Achieves regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing quality customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying trends; determining regional sales system improvements; implementing change.

  • Meets regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

  • Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for regions in support of national objectives.

  • Maintains and expands customer base by counselling Deputy CEO building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities.

  • Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.

  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.

  • Ability to create trust and build relationships across all functions of the business at all levels, employ interpersonal influence and deliver high impact presentations

  • Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed

Team Management

  • Routine compliance: Efficient distribution as route, route book maintenance

  • Every Dealer Survey to be done with team,

  • Effective Relationship Management

  • New Account Generation: Open dry outlets and penetrate competitor exclusive outlets,

  • Critical coaching of employees and training of subordinates for objective achievement

  • Ensure compliance to company policies, procedures, and legislation,

  • Ability to build a complementary team using individual strengths, delegation, coaching and feedback

KPI’s

  • volume growth: Alignment with overall target

  • Sales targets: Achieve annual, monthly, weekly and daily target

  • Sales Tracking: Target vs. achievement daily tracking sheet

  • Daily Routines: Follow daily routines strictly to increase volume

  • External Communication: Suppliers, Customers, Wholesales, retailers and other as requested by Line manager.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related subject, such as marketing, Sales, advertising, management, and any business-related fields

  • 3 grade Driving license is Mandatory Minimum 8-year master’s 9-year degree experience in sales (FMCG sector is preferable)
