Job Description
Education
Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent)/ BSc Degree in information management, information systems, computer science, information science, data science, statistics, GIS, or related field.
Experience
A minimum of 4 years' experience for MSc degree /6 years' experience for BSc degree on data/information management and analysis, preferably with the humanitarian ecosystem, is required. Prior experience working in the Ethiopian humanitarian sector is desirable.
Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially in Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
Knowledge and practical experience of current GIS software (ArcGIS, Google Earth, QGIS) desirable.
Experience in developing software solutions, dashboards, infographics.
Desirable experience:
Knowledge and experience in database application and statistical software i.e. PostgreSQL, SQL server, R programming, SPSS.
Knowledge and practical experience of Adobe Illustrator
Knowledge and practical experience of database development
Experience working in an international organization
Experience in spatial analysis and remote sensing
Experience in providing IM support services with a customer focused approach
