About Roha Medical Campus PLC

Roha Medical Campus PLC (RMC) is building an integrated health campus in Addis Ababa. When complete, it will provide worldclass, high-quality, affordable healthcare across multiple hospitals and facilities. The campus will include a medical school and facilities for research and innovation. It will be set in a lush, green setting, built to the highest sustainability standards, and with a beautiful urban park open to the public. Development of the campus has begun, and the first hospital is already under construction.

About the role

We are seeking an energetic, responsible intern to join our growing organization. In this position, you will be expected to learn the ins-and-outs of our daily routines and procedures.

Location: This role is based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Timing: January 2024

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment processes

  • Screen resumes and job application forms

  • Schedule interviews with potential shortlisted candidates

  • Assist in posting jobs on different platforms

  • Assist the HR team in organizing career fairs and recruitment events

  • Assist the HR staff in gathering relevant information.

  • Manage databases and input information, data, and records.

  • Create HR related reports as required.

  • Take on other related tasks and responsibilities as needed to ensure the overall success of the project and the operation.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills both in Amharic and English languages

About the candidate

Successful applicants have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, flexible and imaginative, are energetic, persistent, detail oriented and self-starters. Applicants could demonstrate this by having the following.

  • Must be fresh graduates with a degree or must be enrolled in an accredited university or college program to study Law, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related fields.

  • Basic knowledge of Ethiopian Labour Law is a plus.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills.

  • Able to demonstrate professional work ethics.

  • Able to maintain flexible work schedule.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills both in Amharic and English languages.

  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
