Nurses monitor patients, administer medications, keep records, consult with healthcare providers, educate patients and more

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Take instruction from the Physical Therapist and head nurse

• To record and monitor vital signs and all basic nursing assessment

•  To provide quality and compassionate nursing care in professional manner

• Ensure that therapy area is clean and tidy at all times to prevent infection

• Administer treatment to patients such as Electrotherapy and therapeutic exercises

• Fix and arrange equipment for physical exercises and treatment and pack them up afterwards

• Interact closely with patients to obtain their medical history

• Sanitize and sterile all reusable medical equipment's and facilities

• Keep records of patients’ daily progress and response to treatment

• Bring patients to areas of therapy and take them out afterwards

• Encourage patients to exercise at home as instructed by the Physical Therapist

• Observe patients closely to observe and prevent other heath issues that may arise due to their condition

• Make suggestions to the Physical Therapist on patients’ treatment based on observations.

Job Requirements

• BSc degree or Diploma  in clinical nursing 

• Previous experience in a pediatric clinics and nursing care for the children's is a comparative advantage 

•  Special interest to work in children physiotherapy clinic.

•  Tolerance, patience and attention to detail
