Job Description
Metropolitan Real Estate Plc is a leading and reputable real estate company committed to delivering exceptional property solutions to our clients. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full-Time "Corporate Lawyer" to join our legal team.
Provide legal advice and support to internal teams on various corporate matters.
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Conduct legal research and analysis to stay up-to-date of industry trends and changes in legislation.
Collaborate with external legal counsel as needed.
Handle mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and contract negotiations.
Participate in corporate governance activities and assist in the preparation of board materials.
Manage and resolve legal disputes and litigation matters.
Stay informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations affecting the company.
Provide legal training to internal teams as needed.
Bachelor's degree in law or a related field.
Minimum 2 years’ related experience as a corporate lawyer.
Strong understanding of corporate law, contracts, and commercial transactions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven negotiation and drafting skills.
Knowledge of real estate industry is a plus.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
