Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility (not all inclusive)

  • Ensures the proper implementation of financial policies & procedures in the section.

  • Ensure all documents are properly coded and recorded. Prepare journal vouchers and bank reconciliation

  • Prepare and brief financial statements and ensure monthly taxes are properly declared and paid on time

  • Be a representative for external and internal auditors.

Job Requirement

Qualification Required and Experience:

  • BA Degree in Accounting and Finance with at least 4 years of experience in finance activities

  • Took IFRS is a plus

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)

  • Proficiency in accounting software

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced Environment

Place of work- Head office (Addis Ababa)
