We're seeking a skilled and creative Web Developer/Designer to join our team and craft stunning and user-friendly websites that elevate our brand, engage visitors, and drive desired outcomes. You'll be both architect and artist, bridging the gap between design and development to create seamless digital experiences that captivate and convert.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Front-End Development:

  • Develop and maintain responsive websites and web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js, etc.).

  • Implement responsive design principles to ensure optimal user experience across all devices and screen sizes.

  • Optimize website performance for speed and accessibility following best practices.

  • Collaborate with designers to translate mockups and visual assets into functional and maintainable code.

• Back-End Development:

  • Develop and maintain server-side functionality using backend languages (PHP, Python, etc.) if applicable.

  • Integrate APIs and other third-party services into the website infrastructure.

  • Work with databases and implement data management solutions.

• Design Integration:

  • Translate design mockups and UI/UX specifications into pixel-perfect web pages.

  • Understand and apply design principles for user-friendly navigation, clear information hierarchy, and visually appealing layouts.

  • Possess basic graphic design skills and knowledge of design software (Photoshop, Illustrator) for minor design adjustments.

• Quality Assurance & Testing:

  • Conduct thorough testing of website functionality across browsers and devices.

  • Identify and resolve bugs and issues before launch.

  • Implement and maintain unit and integration test frameworks for ongoing code quality assurance.

• Version Control & Collaboration:

  • Utilize version control systems (Git) to manage code changes and collaborate effectively with other developers.

  • Communicate clearly and collaborate with designers, content creators, and other stakeholders throughout the development process.

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest web development trends and technologies, adapting approaches to leverage new advancements.

• Technical SEO:

  • Conduct technical website audits to identify and resolve issues that hinder search engine crawling and indexing.

  • Optimize website structure, page speed, internal linking, and mobile responsiveness for improved website crawlability and user experience.

  • Stay up-to-date on Google algorithm updates and implement necessary adjustments to SEO strategy.

  • Collaborate with web developers and designers to ensure new features and updates adhere to SEO best practices.

• Keyword Research & Content Optimization:

  • Perform in-depth keyword research to identify relevant and high-value search terms for targeted optimization.

  • Analyze competitor SEO strategies and develop content plans that differentiate and outrank.

  • Optimize website content (meta descriptions, title tags, page copy) for targeted keywords and search engine best practices.

  • Work with content creators to ensure SEO principles are integrated into website content and blog posts.

• Link Building & Outreach:

  • Develop and implement link-building strategies to obtain high-quality backlinks from relevant and authoritative websites.

  • Utilize white-hat link-building techniques to avoid penalties and maintain website reputation.

  • Build relationships with bloggers, influencers, and other potential link partners.

• Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze website traffic, keyword rankings, and other SEO metrics using analytics tools (Google Search Console, Ahrefs, etc.).

  • Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate SEO performance and progress to stakeholders.

  • Identify actionable insights from data analysis to inform future optimization strategies and content creation.

• Staying Ahead:

  • Continuously learn and stay updated on the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices.

  • Participate in online communities and forums to learn from other SEO professionals.

  • Proactively recommend and implement innovative SEO strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in web development with a strong frontend focus.

• Proven track record of building stunning and user-friendly websites using modern technologies.

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one JavaScript framework (React, Vue.js, etc.).

• Understanding of responsive design principles and best practices.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve bugs.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, web development, or a related field preferred.

Additional Desired Skills:

• Experience with back end development languages and server-side technologies (a plus).

• Knowledge of content management systems (WordPress, Drupal, etc.) is a plus.

• Experience with design software (Photoshop, Illustrator) a plus.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
