REALITY REAL ESTATE is a construction and real estate company striving to contribute significantly to the Real Estate sector of Ethiopia. Currently, we are looking for competent professional to be assigned immediately to the following vacant position.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth design review of electrical and electromechanical designs

• Preparation of working  & shop drawings

• Involve in preparation of technical specifications

• Calculation power loads and consequent optimization

• Onsite supervision of electrical and electro mechanical activities and follow up progress

• Provide technical support whenever needed

• Prepare preliminary electrical designs; Involve in estimation of project costs; prepare specifications and bid documents; coordinate and inspect major construction projects to ensure specifications are being met

• Review and approve electro-mechanical engineering designs before manufacture to ensure design review conformance and repetitive errors elimination

• Make technical recommendations concerning the engineering, design, operation,

• Provide technical assistance to clients and company’s representatives

• Coordinate and oversee the installation and testing of electrical equipment and control systems

• Estimate engineering time and complete dimensional studies of projects

• Perform other work, which is consistent with the essential functions of the job

• Prepare weekly supervision schedule jointly with site project sites operation crews and report/communicate the schedule to your immediate supervisor.

• Communicate external supervision subcontractor for any technical assistance & design clarifications.

• Formally communicate for any corrections, defects & rectifications c/c to engineering department.

• Review, comment and report all electrical designs in conformity with engineering standards and architectural expectations before commencement of any work.

• Study and evaluate the work sequences and methods of the department and explore new ideas to improve quality and productively.

• Supervise construction, maintenance and building renovation projects and provide approval to site operation crew formally by signing inspection forms jointly with external design & supervision subcontractors.

• Resolve any technical problems or issues faced at the work site jointly with the external supervision sub-contractors.

• Determine procedures for maintenance, installation, modification and repair of electrical assignments.

• Prepare & submit weekly & monthly supervision & design reports and forward to your immediate supervisor.

• Handel any task provided by your immediate supervisor.

Job Requirements

MSc or BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering or related fields with a minimum of 7/9 7 years direct experience in the field with proven experience in high-rise building projects preferably in real estate projects.

• Experience in the practice of electrical engineering in a supervisory capacity
