Job Description

The Project Management Officer (PMO) serves as the deputy to the Project Director, taking on a key leadership role in the ERP implementation project. This position is responsible for driving dedicated operational activities and stepping in for the Project Director as needed. The PMO provides essential support to fellow members of the Project Management Office and hands on support to the Business Process Owners, the Technical Team and the Change Management Unit.

 Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day management of the project on dedicated functional areas, following up on action plans, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and with project key stakeholders (notably within the Technical Team with the ERP integrator, and with the Change Management Unit)

  • Lead the coordination and implementation of the project plan under the guidance of the Project Director

  • Provide hands on support to dedicated Business Process Owners, the technical team and the Change Management Unit

  • Maintain a transversal view of the project, proactively assess the risks of the project and ensure proper escalation of identified risks to the Project Director.

  • Act as the deputy to the Project Director, keeping a transversal view of the project progress, alerting them of potential risks, representing them in various capacities and making decisions in their absence

Job Requirements

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to make decisions and act on behalf of the Project Director.

  • Advanced project management knowledge, with experience in ERP implementations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Proficient in project management methodologies, tools, and software.

  • Ability to manage complex projects, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies.

  • Master's in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related technical field,Project Management certification, a plus
