2.  Major duties and responsibilities

Under close supervision of Operations Department Director, order stock for all food and drink items considered necessary to the canteen at the beginning of the day. Allocate jobs to cooks and canteen boys at the beginning of the shift. Prepare weekly menu for Breakfast and Lunch.

3. Specific Duties and Responsibilities

3.1Order stock for all food and drink items considered necessary to the canteen at the beginning of the day.

3.2Allocate jobs to cooks and canteen boys at the beginning of the shift.

1.1   Decide snacks and meals to be prepared.

1.2   Check availability of raw materials as required and order immediately if needed..

1.3   Approve the issue of raw materials.

1.4   Supervise canteen staff as required and assist during busy periods.

1.5   Prepare weekly menu for Breakfast and Lunch.

1.6   Look after hygiene & sanitation of food and canteen environment.

1.7     Look after the purchase of raw materials and check for their quality,

1.8   Maintain records of sale, food and materials stock.

1.9   Settle disputes arising out of canteen service.

1.10  Performs related duties as assigned.

BA/Diploma in Hotel Management

6/8 Years related Experience
