2.     Main duties and responsibilities

Help Head, Nurse in the preparation of staff and patients schedules to ensure full coverage of patient care needs at all times to ensure effective patient services. Participate in program development and in development and implementation of operating policy and procedure. Provides triage advice and guidance to physicians and staff referring patients to the clinic. Maintain confidentiality in matters related to patient, family and client facility staff. Conduct ongoing assessments as determined by patient’s condition and/or the client facility’s policies, procedures or protocols and reprioritizes care accordingly.

3.     Specific duties & responsibilities

3.1        Perform appropriate treatments as ordered by physician in an accurate and timely manner.

3.2        Monitors and coordinates the daily patient care activities of the unit.

3.3        Help Head, Nurse in the preparation of staff and patients schedules to ensure full coverage of patient care needs at all times to ensure effective patient services.

3.4        Provides triage advice and guidance to physicians and staff referring patients to the clinic.

3.5        Oversees and monitors patient evaluation and treatment decisions.

3.6        Supervises the work of employees in supporting roles.

3.7        Participates in program development and in development and implementation of operating policy and procedure.

3.8        Oversees and provides direct nursing evaluation and/or other related care and consultation to patients as required.

3.9        Perform therapeutic nursing interventions as established by individualized plan of care for the patient and his/her family.

3.10    Coordinates services with other patient care units as required.

3.11    Maintain communication with allied services and maintain community liaison as appropriate.

3.12    Maintain confidentiality in matters related to patient, family and client facility staff.

3.13    Conduct ongoing assessments as determined by patient’s condition and/or the client facility’s policies, procedures or protocols and reprioritizes care accordingly.

3.14    Provide care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner that is sensitive to the patient’s and family’s diversity, preserving their autonomy, dignity and rights.

3.15    Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.

3.16    Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.

3.17    Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

BSc Degree in Professional Nursing, Clinical Nursing or related field

2. Work Experience

6 Years Related Experience
