Headlight Consulting Services is looking to hire experienced Facilitators for a USAID activity in Ethiopia and Djibouti.

Summary of Position

The facilitator will support learning events and capacity-building activities for USAID/Ethiopia and USAID/Djibouti. This is a short-term temporary assistance role paid hourly on an as-needed basis for upcoming events. Events may range from 1 hour to 5 days in length. Advance notice may range from 2 days to 2 months. Responsibilities will include: 

• Facilitating learning events and capacity building activities for USAID/Ethiopia and USAID/Djibouti ranging from 1-8 hours/day 

• Following facilitation plans and suggesting adaptations based on what goes well/does not go well

• Coordinating with other facilitators

• Assisting with post-event feedback collection

• Documenting questions and follow-up actions

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience facilitating large-scale trainings and/or learning events

• High-level client engagement skills and experience

• Comfort with change and ability to adapt

• Ability to work well as a member of a team and independently with minimal supervision

• Excellent oral/written communication skills in English

• Experience with hybrid (virtual & in-person) facilitation

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working with USAID and/or similar organizations

• Technical knowledge in Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning; Organizational Development; Adult Learning; Public Health; WASH; Humanitarian Assistance; Economic Growth and Resilience; Education and Youth; Gender; and/or Democracy, Rights, and Governance
