Job Description
Job Summary
Senior Office Engineer is responsible to provide regular reports to the Project Manager and provide inputs for the periodic and final reports to inform key stakeholders on project progress. Manage contractors and contract execution to ensure delivery according to the scope, budget and time and in compliance with the technical documentation. Ensure that proper documentation is kept, recording all correspondences, work orders, variations, contract documents, design reviews, and meeting minutes in related to projects that Abay Bank is Currently undergoing. Responsible for the timely follow up and monitoring of projects activity with respect to schedule, and budget, periodically monitor physical progress on site, checking payment certificates, reviewing variations, omission and addition. Preparation of Bill of quantities, specification, cost estimate and tender documents for projects as needed.
Job Requirement
Educational Level and work Experience: MSc or BSc degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology and Management or in a related field with minimum of 6/8 years’ total experience in Supervision and Contract Administration Works out of which (4) years of senior level experience as Office Engineer, Contract Administration Engineer/Project Coordinator/related assignments. Experience with Design build Projects is preferred.
