Job Description
A contractor who specializes in constructing buildings, roads, bridges, and other structures. They oversee all aspects of the project from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, purchasing materials, hiring subcontractors, etc.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Preparing bids and proposals for new jobs and obtaining contracts
Ensure that contract strategies, tenders, contracts, and variations are in full compliance concerning contract procedures and support Project Execution Procedures
Responsible for the timely follow-up and monitoring of project activity concerning schedule, and budget, periodically monitor
Prepare Bills of quantities, specifications, cost estimates, and tender documents for projects as needed.
Reviewing and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, managing contract changes and renewals, and maintaining accurate records of contracts and related documents.
Communicating with the consultants and clients to ensure contractual obligations are met.
Evaluate the workflow of a project as per the “TOR” and agreement.
Job Requirement
Required Education, Experience, and Competencies:
MSc or BSc Degree in Civil Engineering, CoTM, or in a related field of study
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Technical and Financial Document Preparation for Consultancy Service Bid in civil projects including building and road projects
Professionally registered with the institute.
Familiar with the design standards of Ethiopia.
Good Communication and Writing Skills
Abide by work arrangement, full of team spirit
Experience in the use of design software and computer-aided design and drafting
