On behalf of Nisir Microfinance institution S.C , The Talent Firm is recruiting for the position of Senior IT Audit Officer II. The client is Nisir Microfinance Institution S.C
Nisir Microfinance Institution S.C. is a growing institution that is currently operating at 7 branches. Nisir is currently serving more than 10,000 clients with exceptionally praised customer service. It’s main products are saving and credit. Savings pays depositors an attractive interest rate, and credit-to-loan clients have optional payment modalities.
About the Role
The primary role of the technical operator is Plans, designs, develops, and implements IT audit projects, Audits and evaluates information systems for effectiveness and efficiency. and also examines and appraises IT strategies, operations, and internal controls.
Responsibilities
Conducts investigations of computer fraud, illegal activities, and errors.
Ensures adequate data protection mechanisms for all systems and storage media.
Verifies adherence to standards, policies, and procedures during system development.
Implements antivirus software and physical security measures to prevent disruptions.
Designs and oversees disaster recovery and continuity plans.
Writes audit reports detailing findings, discrepancies, and incidents.
Monitors and oversees the rectification of identified issues.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Education:
BSc Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or in any related field
Experience:
3 - 5 years relevant experience in IT or auditing positions in Banking/financial Industry.
Soft skills:
Able to speak, read and write in English language
