Job Description
Awach SACCO Is a saving and credit cooperative established on 13/07/1999 E.C. in Arada Sub-city by Mr. Zerihun Sheleme, founder and general manager with 41 initial members. having in mind a long-range objective of encouraging saving mobilization culture and loan provision in the community with a strong commitment and belongingness, coupled with shared visions of the founders; Awach became a truly serving financial institution within a few years after the establishment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
A Monitor the repayment activities of all credit members.
Follow-up with members who are falling late on their payments.
Answer inquiries and aid on loan repayment matters.
Negotiate and establish payment arrangements with delinquent customers.
Maintain accurate records of all follow-up activities and outcomes.
Place of Work: Addis Ababa (Awach SACCOS, Head Office)
Sex: Female/Male
Required No: 2 (Two)
Job Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Accounting and Finance, Banking and Finance, Cooperative Accounting and Related Fields from a well-known University with CGPA >2.5.
General
Two (2) years of demonstrated work experience.
Strong Proven experience in credit follow-up or collections.
Strong knowledge of financial and credit procedures.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications.
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
