Job Specifications: 

Facilities Maintenance:

  •   Oversee the maintenance and operation of all facilities, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Space Planning:

  • Coordinate and manage office space planning, utilization, and relocation as needed.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the facilities budget, including forecasting and cost control.

  • Monitor and report on budget performance.

Security:

  • Implement and oversee security protocols, including access control and surveillance systems.

Emergency Response:

  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans.

  • Coordinate drills and training for employees.

Environmental Sustainability:

  • Implement and promote environmentally sustainable practices within the facilities.

  • Identify and implement energy-efficient solutions.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure facilities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

  • Stay updated on changes in regulations and update practices accordingly.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other departments to support their facility-related needs.

  • Act as a liaison between employees and management for facility-related concerns.

Reporting:

  •   Provide regular reports on facilities' performance, including maintenance activities, expenses, and improvement projects.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for improvement in facility management processes.

  • Implement best practices to enhance overall efficiency.

Job Requirements

Education:

  •   Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Relevant certifications in facilities management are a plus.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in facilities management, property management, or a related field.

  • Strong background in overseeing the maintenance of facilities.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in using facilities management software and tools.

  • Knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other facility-related systems.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.

  • Experience ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Project Management:

  •   Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, execute, and oversee facility-related projects.

  • Experience in budgeting and cost management for facilities projects.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to interact with various stakeholders, including vendors, employees, and management.

Problem-Solving:

  • Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to address issues related to facilities promptly.

  • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential problems.

Team Management:

  • Experience in leading and managing a facilities team.

  • Ability to delegate tasks, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative work environment.

Vendor Management:

  • Strong vendor management skills, including contract negotiation and performance evaluation.

  • Ability to source and manage external service providers.

Health and Safety:

  • Knowledge and implementation of health and safety protocols within facilities.

  • Experience conducting safety inspections and risk assessments.
