Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Initiation:

  • Participate in project initiation meetings to understand project objectives, scope, and stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project requirements.

Project Planning:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.

  • Ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.

Resource Allocation:

  • Allocate resources effectively to meet project requirements.

  • Collaborate with department heads to secure necessary resources.

Task Scheduling:

  • Create task schedules and timelines, considering dependencies and critical paths.

  • Regularly update and communicate project schedules.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage project budgets.

  • Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.

Risk Assessment:

  • Identify potential project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.

  • Monitor and address risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Establish and maintain clear communication channels with project stakeholders.

  • Provide regular updates on project progress and milestones.

Quality Management:

  • Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet standards.

  • Conduct quality assessments as needed.

Change Management:

  • Assess and manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget.

  • Ensure change requests are documented and approved.

Issue Resolution:

  • Identify and address project issues promptly.

  • Collaborate with team members to find effective solutions.

Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.

  • Ensure documentation complies with organizational standards.

Collaboration Tools:

  • Utilize project management tools and collaboration platforms efficiently.

  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project teams.

Performance Metrics:

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for project success.

  • Analyze metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.

Closure and Evaluation:

  • Lead the project closure process, including documentation and evaluation.

  • Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned.

Training and Development:

  • Provide training to project team members on project management best practices.

  • Support ongoing professional development.

Ad Hoc Responsibilities:

  • Undertake additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by executive leadership.

  • Support other project initiatives as needed

Job Requirements

Education:•   

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering,

  • Masters degree in Project management, Business Administration, MBA or a related field.

  • Relevant certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) are advantageous.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in project planning and management.

  • Demonstrated success in coordinating and executing projects.

Analytical Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to analyze project requirements and develop comprehensive plans.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to convey project details and updates to diverse stakeholders.

Organizational Skills:

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Technology Proficiency:

  • Proficient in project management tools and software.
