Job Specifications: 

Financial Reporting:

  •   Prepare and analyze financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements).

  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

General Ledger Management:

  • Maintain the general ledger and perform regular reconciliations.

  • Record and classify financial transactions accurately.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

  • Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

Tax Compliance:

  • Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local regulations.

  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws that may impact financial reporting.

Audit Support:

  • Assist in the preparation for and coordination of internal and external audits.

  • Provide necessary documentation and explanations during audits.

Financial Analysis:

  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.

  • Provide insights into financial performance.

Expense Management:

  • Monitor and control expenses in line with budgetary guidelines.

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities.

Cash Flow Management:

  • Manage and forecast cash flow to ensure liquidity.

  • Implement strategies for optimizing working capital.

Financial Documentation:

  • Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with record-keeping requirements.

Technology Utilization:

  • Leverage accounting software for efficient financial management.

  • Stay updated on advancements in accounting technology.

Compliance Oversight:

  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, financial regulations, and internal policies.

  • Collaborate with compliance teams to address any issues.

Training and Development:

  • Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and industry best practices.

  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Ad Hoc Reporting:

  • Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analysis as requested by management.

  • Respond to inquiries and provide financial information as needed.

Required Number: 2(Two)

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

  •   Professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) are advantageous.

Experience:

  • Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar financial role.

  • Familiarity with accounting software and financial reporting.

Analytical Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to interpret financial data and provide insights.

Attention to Detail:

  • Exceptional attention to detail in financial record-keeping.

  • Accuracy in data entry and financial documentation.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.

Technology Proficiency:

  • Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).

  • Familiarity with spreadsheet applications and financial modeling.

Regulatory Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.

  • Ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards in financial reporting.

Time Management:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Team Collaboration:

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Positive attitude and willingness to support team goals.
