Job Specifications: 

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop, communicate, and execute the organization's strategic plan.

  • Align strategic objectives with the overall vision and mission of the organization.

SWOT Analysis:

  •   Conduct SWOT analyses to assess internal strengths and weaknesses, as well as external opportunities and threats.

  • Use findings to inform strategic decisions.

Market Analysis:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities.

  • Inform the development of market-driven strategies.

Goal Setting:

  • Set clear and measurable strategic goals and objectives.

  • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.

Scenario Planning:

  • Engage in scenario planning to anticipate potential future developments.

  • Develop strategies to adapt to different scenarios.

Performance Metrics:

  •   Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of strategic initiatives.

  • Use metrics to evaluate and refine strategies.

Resource Allocation:

  • Collaborate with department heads to allocate resources effectively.

  • Ensure alignment of resources with strategic priorities.

Strategic Partnerships:

  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships that align with organizational goals.

  • Evaluate and negotiate partnerships for mutual benefit.

Communication of Strategy:

  • Communicate the strategic plan clearly and effectively to all stakeholders.

  • Ensure understanding and buy-in from employees at all levels.

Change Management:

  • Develop change management strategies to support the implementation of strategic initiatives.

  • Address resistance and promote a culture of adaptability.

Innovation Strategy:

  • Develop and implement an innovation strategy.

  • Explore and leverage emerging technologies and methodologies.

Competitive Analysis:

  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify strengths and weaknesses of competitors.

  • Use insights to refine and enhance the organization's competitive position.

Budget Alignment:

  • Ensure that budgets align with strategic priorities.

  • Evaluate and prioritize resource allocation based on strategic goals.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Regularly assess the effectiveness of the strategic plan.

  • Solicit feedback and make adjustments for continuous improvement.

Talent Development:

  • Identify talent needs aligned with strategic goals.

  • Collaborate with HR for talent acquisition and development.

Ad Hoc Responsibilities:

  • Undertake additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by executive leadership.

  • Support other strategic initiatives as needed.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Strategy, Economics, or a related field.

  • Master’s degree or MBA is advantageous.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in strategic planning, business development, or a related role.

  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategic initiatives.

Analytical Skills:

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven strategic recommendations.
