Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
advises and assists the President in the exercise of his/her powers and duties and ensures proper enrolment of students
avows students’ academic record keeping on permanent registration materials and proper procedures;
ensures timely preparation of registration materials, procedures, and services;
plans, organizes, and directs library collection development and services;
ensures the eligibility of academic staff for teaching both in the Degree and TVET programmes;
ensures that the institution prepares high quality graduates;
follows up and ensures the proper implementation of courses offered in accordance with the academic calendar of the university;
ensures that the academic staff members are engaged in research activities and preparation of teaching materials;
ensures that all examinations are at standard level and prepared timely;
serves as a member of the management committee of the University;
leads and coordinates the college/faculty/institute/school deans and standing/adhoc committees under his/her span of responsibility;
Job Requirement
Academic: MA, in EDPM or any other related field of study
Experience: Above 8 years of Experience as a vice president, Dean or Head of Department
