Job Description

To protect the grapefruits of the vineyard plantation from birds by using electronic drones throughout the year. And to spray agrochemicals inside the vineyard using the drones. And to collect data irrigation, moisture content, meteorological information from the sensors inside the vineyard.

 Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Check drone status before flying

  • To operate the electronic drones in the vineyard where there is bird attack problem throughout the day

  • To take care the drone’s condition and the battery by charging and taking the required maintenance.

  • Configure flight parameters and Conduct flight demonstrations.

  • Oversee ground and flight operations

  • Conduct previous tests to ensure connection between the drone and the controller

  • Troubleshoot equipment issues

  • Collect, process, analyze and communicate data to the monitoring system.

  • Evaluate weather conditions.

  • Monitor drone performance and systems during flight.

  • Ensure that all required documents and records are up to date.

  • Ensure compliance with safety and legal regulations.

  • Performs other duties in Wine making & packaging or Maintenance department as required.

Job Requirements

·       Degree in Electromechanical Engineering.

·       Diploma (10+3/ Level IV & passed COC) in information technology and related field.

·       Technical knowledge of flight and drone management (altitude, speed, etc.)

·       Ability to use software, programs & tools to complete task.

·       Knowledge of aviation safety regulations and procedures

·       Strong knowledge of drone technology

·       Ability to read and interpret maps and plans.

·       Experience in using tablets or smartphones to control the drone remotely.

·       Understanding local drone laws 

·       Strong hand-to-eye coordination

·       Strong motor skills
