Job Description

We are looking for a strategic and results-oriented leader to oversee both the General Services and Human Resources functions. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective policies, strategies, and processes to ensure the smooth operation of our organization and the well-being of our employees. Responsibilities:

General Services:

* Lead and manage the GS team, overseeing functions such as facilities management, procurement, IT support, and travel logistics.

* Develop and implement cost-effective strategies to optimize GS operations and ensure efficient resource allocation.

* Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, ensuring best value for the company.

* Utilize data and analytics to identify areas for improvement and implement innovative solutions.

* Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in GS management.

Human Resources:

* Provide strategic leadership and direction to the HR team, setting clear goals and objectives.

* Oversee the full employee life cycle, including recruitment, on-boarding, performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee relations.

* Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies to attract and hire top talent in a competitive market.

* Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.

* Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.

* Partner with leadership to create a positive and engaging work environment that promotes employee growth and development.

 Job Requirements

* Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a leadership role within either General Services or Human Resources.

* Proven track record of success in developing and implementing effective policies, strategies, and processes.

* Strong understanding of best practices in both GS and HR management.

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

* Proficient in MS Office Suite and HRIS software.

* Experience working in a technology company preferred.

* Fluency in Amharic and English required
