Responsible to organize, lead and improve all activities related to direct purchasing of raw materials (Non-Tobacco Materials, Leaf & SFGs), Spare parts, CAPEX & Technical Services related to factory machineries.

Main Areas of Responsibility:

• Responsible for the follow up of Purchase Request conversion to Purchase Order and follow intercompany procurement procedures.

• Responsible to communicate with approved suppliers to get inland cost & other related costs, calculate Transfer Price (TP) and Communicate with GBS ordering to maintain the TP price.

• Responsible to analyze lot size, negotiate material readiness time, advice mode of transport considering the different lead times and related logistics costs & receive PFI from GBS.

• Responsible to maintain mandatory data into Ethiopian Single Window (ESW) after getting confirmation of assigned bank from treasury,

• Responsible for the follow up of FX approval processes on the ESW, prepare priority list for FX approval and generate periodical status report.

• Responsible to prepare shipping instruction and send it with the bank approved PO to GBS & suppliers, follow on timely cargo dispatch, check correctness of the shipping documents before final release & follow up timely documents arrival at local banks & generate status report.

• Responsible to share demand forecast with suppliers.

• Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager’s request.

Job Requirements

Educational Background:

• BA Degree, in Purchase and Supply Management, Management, Accounting and others related fields.

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 4-year experience in foreign purchase
