About the Role

The Manager, Planning and monitoring division of NMI is directly reporting to Director, Planning & Performance Evaluation and undertakes Planning, monitoring & evaluation activities. Gathers, consolidates and reports feed backs obtained from monitoring & evaluation interventions, consolidates annual work plan and budget NMI. Reviews periodic utilization of approved budget and prepares accomplishment reports, prepares project proposals and business strategies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and undertakes monitoring and evaluation activities of NMI .

• Gathers, consolidates and reports feed backs obtained from the monitoring and evaluation interventions on the activities of NMI.

• Designs systems, procedures and tools for timely capturing of data from directorates, services, branch office and other work units of NMI.

• Identifies industry indicators that would serve to measure the yearly plan achievement and impact of the objective accomplishment activities as whole.

• Prepares project proposals to potential and/or existing business partners with the objective of tapping business opportunities.

• Consolidates annual Plan and budget of NMI in conjunction with concerned work units.

• Prepares periodic reports about the accomplishment of the targets as set in the strategic plan and associated action plans.

• Initiates timely monitoring and evaluation interventions based on the strategic plan of the NMI.

• Coordinates activities that may arise around preparations of strategic and annual plans, budgets, and project preparations in of NMI.

• Reviews the yearly budget utilization periodically and advices management if any deviation occurs in the process.

• Keeps in confidence the information crucial to the existence and normal functioning of NMI and the decision of management that needs discretion in implementation and application business plans and strategies.

• Advice management concerning measures to be taken around issues of monitoring revaluation.

• Performs other similar activities as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Basic salary: 43,342, House allowance 5,000, Fuel allowance( litre of benzene)180, Telephone allowance 1200, Representative allowance 4,334

Job Requirements

Education:

• BA/MA in Management, Business Administration. Accounting& Finance, Economics or related fields

Experience:

• 6/4 years relevant experience out of which 2/1 years on managerial/supervisory position.
