Habesha Breweries S.C. is looking for a Procurement Coordinator.

The Role Summary:

To Execute and perform activities on procurement and delivery for foreign local, and other related operations of the company for the achievements and high performances; effective and efficient sourcing of all purchases at an optimal cost for the company; develop and implement sourcing strategies that ensure flawless sourcing and delivery of material line with the brewery plan.

Result Area:

Ensure the availability of product-related items and all categories in the company

  • Execute sourcing as per the sourcing plans for each product category.

  • Procures materials at the right price, right quality, and right place.

  • Coordinates sourcing of materials for production, operations, commercial, and business plus monitors on-time delivery.

Supplies Sourcing

  • Execute market analysis

  • Identify competitive and relevant supplies

  • Records all relevant supplier information in the supplier's master data

Procurement of Materials

  • Creates a competitive environment through agreed procurement method, tendering, and structured negotiation

  • Rationalize specifications and standardize purchasing practices

  • Execute proper documentation for both local and foreign end-to-end purchasing transactions

  • Increase local sourcing for proper utilization of FX

Continues Process and System Improvement

  • Make sure that all sourcing activities are in line with the Habesha procurement policies

  • Implement AEO successfully

  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators for the respective suppliers

  • Initiates projects to improve supplier performance, the purchasing process, and internal customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements

This role is positioned at the mid-level and requires someone who has experience in the procurement and supply chain profession. This person will have the opportunity to develop their career further within a very progressive, dynamic, and exciting work atmosphere.

BA Degree in Supply Chain and Logistics Management and equivalent work experience, ideally 3 plus years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setup with good communication and expression ability.
