Architects investigate, design, and oversee the construction and development of buildings, urban spaces, infrastructure projects, and social spaces. They design in accordance with the surroundings and regulations applicable in specific geographic areas, taking into account factors that include function, aesthetics, costs, and public health and safety. They are aware of social contexts and environmental factors, which include the relationships between people and buildings, and buildings and the environment. They engage in multidisciplinary projects aimed at developing the social fabric of a geographic area and advancing in social urbanism projects. 

The CCECC Ethiopian Branch would like to hire a competent applicant for the following vacant position: we are searching for an experienced architect who has experience in various architectural design projects for offices, hospitals, and banks and so on.

Job Requirements

Qualification and Experience

• BSc Degree or relevant experience in Architectural Engineering.

• More than 5 years of relevant work experience in design.

• Familiarity with the work standards of Ethiopia.

• Ability to prepare architectural working drawings.

• Ability to prepare architecturald Drawings, Bill of Quantities (BOQ).

• Previous architectural experience in projects such as offices, banks, apartments, hotels, and interior design.

• Good communication and writing skills in English (knowledge of Chinese language is a bonus).

• Willingness to follow work arrangements and work well in a team.
