Job Description

World Together is Korean international relief and development NGO that was established in December 2005 through permission from the Ministry of Justice with the mission to help our neighbors worldwide who are suffering from poverty, disease and war.

World Together Ethiopia (International NGO) invites competent and qualified candidates for its Income Generating Activity (IGA) project where we conduct short term trainings in the areas of ICT and Electronics maintenance as per the following requirements:

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Promote the IGA program through bringing significant number of applicants for short term trainings;

  • Conduct the role of searching for bids and handling application process;

  • Writing proposals, designing and implementing different ways of collaboration with international NGOs, public organizations, private companies and securing grants by designing different strategies;

  • Contacting NGOs, public organizations, private companies and promoting the IGA training packages;

  • Implementing different marketing strategies and maximizing income;

  • Prepare a training breakdown based on the curriculum in consultation with the IGA Manager

  • Prepare trainee’s application and registration forms and schedules for registration process;

  • Keep academic records of trainees appropriately and systematically.

  • Prepare diploma certificates, transcript and trainee copy for the trainees.

  • Prepare and submit periodic reports /weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual to the IGA Manager.

  • Prepare proposal for new trainee recruitment.

  • Shall execute additional related tasks.

Terms of Employment

Contract based renewed yearly on his/her performance

Salary Details:

Basic salary ETB 6,240.00

ETB 300.00 mobile card allowance

5% commission per individual trainee (must bring a minimum of 15 applicants)

5% commission for income generated from company sponsored trainings (must secure a minimum of ETB 150,000.00 amount training program)

2% commission for securing grants from International NGOs and public organizations (must secure a minimum of ETB 200,000.00 amount training program)

Job Requirement

Qualifications, Skills and Work experience:

  • BA Degree in Economics, Management, Marketing and Business Administration with at least 3 years work experience.

  • Previous experience in marketing and sales.

  • Proven experience in business proposal writing and grant mobilization.

  • Very good communication and analytical skill is necessary.
