We are looking for a reliable Financial Manager that will lead and analyze everyday financial activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to management on future financial plans. In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise in financial analysis and strategic planning. By analyzing day-to-day financial activities with precision, you will provide valuable insights and recommendations to upper management.

• Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting.

• Oversee the operations and development of the company’s finance departments including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.

• Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.

• Maintain the financial health of the organization.

• Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.

• Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.

• Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.

• Manage the preparation of the company’s budget.

• Liase with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.

Job Requirements

Education

• BA/MA in Accounting and finance.

Experience

• 10 year experience and 5 year in managerial role

• Experience in the construction sector is preferable

Additional Skills

• Proven experience as a Financial Manager

• Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns

• Proficient user of finance software

• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

• Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used

• Working knowledge of all government legislation and regulations
