• Ensures that all brushes, trays and other work tools are cleaned after being used.

• Ensures that all necessary safety precautions are taken when working on a scaffolding.

• Ensures cleanliness of work areas and protection of surrounding area when executing painting work.

• Attends to any guest requests in a manner and standard as specified in policy and procedures. 

• Inspects, services rectify and maintains all areas which needs urgent correction.

• Makes the required logs of service delivery data requested by guests and internal customers at the end of the working day.

• Avoids unsightly hazards and complies with all local regulations and codes.

• Properly handles and maintains all power tools.

• Submits request to the Assistant Engineering Manager for the purchases of parts and consumables.

• Ensures cleanliness of all work areas and protects the surroundings when executing duties.

• Ensures effective energy conservation measures in areas of operations.

• Ensures fire, life and safety systems are operational.

• Performs emergency procedures relating to fire, life and safety, e.g., such as attending to fire alarms, lift rescue.

• Ensures timely completion of work orders and preventive maintenance tasks.

• Reports any abnormal conditions noticed at any time in line with safety related equipment or installation to Assistant Engineering Manager.

• Assists other Technicians whenever necessary.

Job Requirements

Degree/Diploma or Certificate in Maintenance/Engineering or Related Fields

Minimum 2 years' work experience as Painter in a hotel or in a similar large building/complex
