Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Call Center Agent. In this role, the call center agent will be handling a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls and becoming the primary point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional customer service and efficiently resolving their inquiries or concerns.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Answering or making calls to clients to learn about and address their needs, complaints, or other issues with products or services

  • Handle incoming calls from customers professionally and courteously

  • Provide accurate information to customers regarding products, services, promotions or company policies

  • Identify and escalate complex issues to the appropriate department or supervisor when necessary

  • Resolve customer complaints or inquiries in a timely and satisfactory manner

  • Respond efficiently to customers and creating a positive experience

  • Remaining calm and professional while dealing with angry customers and providing them with the best solutions to resolve their issues

  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all interactions with customers, comments and complaints

Competencies needed

  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a clear and professional phone voice

  • Strong active listening skills to understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail

  • Willingness to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required

Job Requirements

  • Degree in any field with 1-2 years proven experience as a call center agent. (Experience working in the transport sector especially meter taxis is desirable)
