Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Manager to join our team at Ashewa Technology Solution S.C. as the Commercial Manager for our marketplace platform, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our business by developing and implementing effective strategies to attract and retain buyers and sellers. You will be responsible for managing the commercial operations, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the marketplace.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement commercial strategies: Develop and execute strategies to drive the growth and profitability of the marketplace. Identify and target new markets, assess market trends, and analyze competitor activities to maximize business opportunities.

2. Buyer and seller acquisition: Develop and implement strategies to attract and onboard new buyers and sellers to the marketplace. Build strong relationships with key suppliers and manufacturers to ensure a diverse and high-quality product offering.

3. Marketplace operations management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the marketplace, including product listing, inventory management, pricing, and order fulfillment. Monitor and optimize the performance of the marketplace to ensure a seamless and efficient user experience.

4. Performance analysis and reporting: Track and analyze key performance metrics, such as sales, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction. Generate regular reports to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.

5. Relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including buyers, sellers, and service providers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and customer support, to ensure alignment and effective execution of commercial strategies.

6. Compliance and risk management: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies pertaining to the marketplace operations. Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues related to fraud, counterfeit products, and other marketplace-related challenges.

Job Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field

- Proven experience in commercial management, preferably in a marketplace or e-commerce environment.

- Strong understanding of online marketplaces and e-commerce trends.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.

- Effective communication and presentation skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

- Familiarity with technology platforms and tools used in e-commerce operations is a plus.
