Painters use painting machines and hand tools to coat individual parts and to paint the surface of all types of transport equipment such as cars, buses, boats, aircraft, motorcycles and railway cars. They prepare the surface of the pieces for the paint and apply the coat. Transport equipment painters can perform industrial painting or individual customisation. They may also remove or repair painting errors such as scratches.

• Required Minimum Level of Education: From recognized college/TVET level V diploma in Auto-Mechanics/ Automotive Technology/ Metal Technology Or From recognized college/TVET level IV /10+3/ diploma in Auto-Mechanics/ Automotive Technology/ Metal Technology From recognized college/ TVET level II /10+2/ certificate in Auto-Mechanics/ Automotive Technology/Metal Technology, Training in the From recognized college/ TVET  level I /10+1/  certificate in Auto- Mechanics/ Automotive Technology/ Metal Technology, Training in the field

• Required Minimum Experience: 2 years related work experience Or 4 years related work experience & 6 years related work experience & 8 years related work experience
