Company Description
The Soufflet Group is a French company owned by INVIVO Group which collects and adds value to agricultural raw materials through industrial milling and malting.
In malting, it is a front-rank world player in the malt market with 28 malt plants in Europe, Latin America, Asia, and Africa, located at the heart of the barley-producing regions. For more information: www.malteries-soufflet.com
Soufflet started its operation in Ethiopia in 2017 in the barley supply chain and commissioned its malt factory in Addis Ababa in April 2021.
Soufflet aims to source/buy 100% of its raw material locally which represents 80 000 tons per year.
Main Duties and Responsibilites:
Payment’s ledger reconciliation
Vendor reconciliation
Periodic Bank reconciliation
Process payments to supplier/Vendors
Payment process checking, coding, and posting.
Deliver Data to treasury planning.
Journal Approval
Manage the external audit process with respect to GL accounting.
Prepare Tax documents for monthly declaration.
Follow Intercompany recording.
Perform any other duties as required by the line Managers or head of Department.
Job Requirements
Education: BA in accounting, Finance or equivalent
Experience: At least four years relevant work experience
Technical Skills:
Work experience on ERP systems /SAP
Ability to communicate effectively and authoritatively on area of expertise.
Ability to develop effective working relationships across a network.
Knowledge of financial policies and systems.
Demonstrated understanding to Government of Ethiopia financial laws.
Skilled in collecting, synthesizing, and analysing data.
High level of language proficiency in English.
Excellent analytic and computer skills; skilled in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
