Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company's overall technology strategy in alignment with business goals and objectives.

• Lead and oversee the development of technology products and solutions, ensuring they meet quality standards and market requirements.

• Identify emerging technologies and trends relevant to the company's industry, and assess their potential for innovation and competitive advantage.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering and development teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

• Manage the company's IT infrastructure, systems, and operations, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.

• Define and maintain the overall architecture and design principles for the company's technology solutions, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and efficient.

• Assess and mitigate technical risks and challenges, including cyber security threats, data breaches, and compliance issues.

• Evaluate and manage relationships with technology vendors, partners, and service providers, ensuring alignment with business objectives and quality standards.

• Collaborate with other departments, such as product management, sales, marketing, and customer support, to ensure technology solutions meet customer needs and market requirements.

• Ensure that technology solutions comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices, particularly in regulated industries such as healthcare, finance, and cyber security.

Job Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

• MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields

• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in a senior IT leadership role.

• Proven track record in implementing and managing technology solutions in the financial technology sector.

• Strong technical background and expertise in software development, ERP, and IT infrastructure, with knowledge of relevant programming languages, platforms, and technologies.

• Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, foster innovation, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

• Strategic mindset with the ability to envision and execute technology strategies that drive business growth, innovation, and competitive advantage.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate across departments and teams.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, evaluate options, and make informed decisions in complex and ambiguous situations.

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, technologies, and market dynamics, and to lead and navigate the organization through uncertainty and change.

• Understanding of business principles, market dynamics, and customer needs, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value and revenue opportunities.

• Familiarity with relevant experience particularly in industries such as SaaS, ERP.

• Experience in building and managing strategic partnerships with technology vendors, partners, and service providers to enhance the company's technology capabilities and offerings.

• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, staying abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in the industry.
