Customs Clearing Supervisor to oversee and manage the customs clearance process for import and export shipments. The Customs Clearing Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring compliance with customs regulations, coordinating with government agencies, and supervising a team of customs clearing agents. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of customs procedures, import/export documentation, and excellent leadership skills to ensure efficient and timely clearance of goods.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee the customs clearance process for import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.

• Review and verify import/export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents.

Job Requirements

• B.A Degree

Experience

• 1-4 years of experience

• Previous freight forwarding experience

Competency:

• Ability to lead & delegate

• Good communication & coordination skill

• Driven and with a can-do attitude

• Good English communication skill

• Experience in customs clearance and logistics would be advantageous

• Strong administration and customer service skills are essential

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage high workloads whilst meeting tight deadlines

• Good attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to work in a fast paced environment

• Competent with completion of customs clearance procedures

• Good computer skill (MS-word & MS-Excel)
