We are looking for a talented Leakage Engineer to join our engineering team. As a Leakage Engineer, you will have a vital role in designing, analyzing, and optimizing our drinking water distribution systems to minimize water leakage and enhance efficiency. Your primary focus will be collaborating with process engineers, system designers, and pipeline experts to develop innovative solutions for reducing water loss in our infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze water leakage in our distribution systems using industry-standard tools and methodologies.

• Identify sources of water leakage, including pipe corrosion, joint failures, and pressure variations.

• Develop and implement strategies to mitigate water leakage, such as proactive maintenance schedules, leak detection technologies, and pipe rehabilitation techniques.

• Collaborate with process engineers to optimize water treatment and distribution processes for reduced leakage.

• Work with system designers to explore innovative design solutions that minimize the risk of water loss.

• Perform hydraulic simulations and analyses to evaluate the impact of design decisions on water leakage.

• Participate in design reviews to provide insights on leakage reduction strategies and trade-offs.

• Develop and maintain models for predicting water leakage in our distribution network.

• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies related to water leakage detection and prevention.

• Document best practices and lessons learned for reducing water leakage in drinking water distribution systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of leakage reduction measures.

• Support field teams in identifying and addressing water leakage issues in our distribution network.

Job Requirements

Academic qualification

• BSc Degree engineering in Hydraulics or Water Resource Engineering

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Hydraulic design and construction supervision in water supply projects

• Experience in CAD software and QGIS and related.

Work Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Hydraulic design and construction supervision in water supply projects

Additional Required Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex engineering challenges.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Prior experience in water infrastructure design or maintenance is desirable.

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards related to drinking water distribution systems is a plus.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of leakage reduction techniques into semiconductor designs.
