Kadisco Paint and Adhesive Industry SC previously known as Kadisco Chemical Industry Plc is a privately owned company located in Addis Ababa in the Akaki Kality Industrial Zone area. Kadisco is a company that traces its origins back from a small automotive parts dealership that was operating in one of the busy streets of Addis Ababa back in late 60’s. During the period until 1975 it had the opportunity to act as the sole distributor for Sadoline Paints. In 1979 it was registered as the sole company to manufacture adhesives and glue. By stages, the company developed into a diversified paint manufacturer.
In February 2015, Asian Paints Ltd and Kadisco Paint and Adhesive Industry SC formed a joint venture for business in Ethiopia and came to be known as Kadisco Asian paints. Asian Paints is India’s leading paint company and Asia’s second largest, with a group turnover of USD 2.7 billion. The group has an enviable reputation in the corporate world for professionalism, fast track growth, and building shareholder equity. Asian Paints operates in 19 countries and has 26 paint manufacturing facilities in the world servicing consumers in over 65 countries.
Today the company produces a full range of paints for the construction, industrial and automotive sectors. It also produces wood and concrete lacquers as well as adhesives for the wood and leather industry.
Position Summary
The Project Sales Executive plays an integral role in ensuring that the strategic objectives of sales projects are met, acting as the key player between various stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and delivery. This position involves coordinating with different departments, project timelines, and ensuring that customer needs are addressed, all while keeping an eye on the project’s budget and resources. By maintaining a clear line of communication and leveraging their expertise in project management, the executive ensures that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the satisfaction of all parties involved. Their ability to navigate the complexities of sales projects, from inception to completion, makes them an essential part of the team, driving the project forward through each phase of its lifecycle.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
Coordinate with marketing teams to align sales strategies and solutions with market trends and customer needs.
Manage and oversee the entire sales project lifecycle, from initial client consultation to closing deals, ensuring timelines and targets are met.
Liaise between the sales team and other departments, such as product development and customer service, to ensure product offerings meet client expectations.
Analyze sales statistics to identify areas of improvement and recommend sales strategies for growth.
Prepare and manage the sales project budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and financial objectives are met.
Facilitate training and development programs for the sales team to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills.
Negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers to secure the most advantageous terms while maintaining quality and service standards.

Sales Forecasting: Analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and economic indicators is crucial for predicting future sales volumes with accuracy. Sales Project executive rely on this analysis to allocate resources efficiently and set achievable targets for their teams, informing strategic planning and decision-making processes.
Client Relationship Management: Maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with clients is central to ensuring smooth project progression and achieving sales targets. Effective communication, understanding client needs, and anticipating challenges are skills that directly influence project success and client satisfaction.
Contract Negotiation: The ability to balance client expectations with company capabilities during contract negotiations ensures agreements are both profitable and deliverable. Sales Project executive must communicate value, manage risk, and secure terms that support long-term business relationships and project success.
Market Analysis: Identifying lucrative market opportunities and potential threats through the analysis of trends, customer behaviors, and competitor activities guides strategic decision-making and project planning. A meticulous approach to data collection and interpretation is required to align sales strategies with current market dynamics.
Team Leadership: Harmonizing diverse sales strategies under effective team leadership ensures that each team member contributes towards collective targets. Coordination of skills, motivations, and resources is key to driving project completion within deadlines and surpassing sales goals.
Sales Pipeline Management: Overseeing the progression of potential deals from initial contact to close requires a strategic approach to nurturing leads, aligning sales strategies with customer needs, and tracking progress. A careful method to forecasting, analyzing, and adjusting sales tactics optimizes conversion rates and achieves targets.

Qualification and Experience Requirements
Master's or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Economics or a related field
Advanced education, such as a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, can further enhance prospects, emphasizing leadership, strategic planning, and financial management to excel in coordinating sales projects and leading teams towards achieving business goals.
