Job Brief:

We are seeking trustworthy candidate who manage company’s fixed assets activities efficiently without sacrificing accuracy. The Fixed Asset Registration Officer manages fixed assets (properties) of the company efficiently by maintaining Inventory Control System (ICS); updates records of organization’s inventory of fixed assets located at various sites; monitors movement of fixed assets within the organization; and provides complete and timely reports to the supervising Director. S/he should have a firm grasp of property management practices and regulations and possess strong computer and verbal and written communication skills. To ensure success, the fixed asset registration officer should be prompt in action, honest, detail-oriented, professional, and analytical.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, maintain and update inventory of all fixed assets of the company

• Arrange, supervise and participate in the labeling of all fixed assets located at various sites

• Investigate inventory shortages and discrepancies

• Ensure properties are managed as per regulations and property management guidelines

• Conduct surprise fixed asset counts and check accuracies of balance

• Maintain fixed asset log-sheet and history

• Inspect and evaluate inventory management activities for accuracy and  compliance with policies, procedures and directives

• Inspect the status and functionality of fixed assets (properties) at ware-houses and at the actual workplaces

• Manage and control property distribution activities and processes

• Record inventory data of fixed assets using ERP software system; and be on top of the subsequent maintenance of the system

• Identify obsolete, defective and damaged fixed assets for disposal.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate Degree in accounting and related fields from an accredited University.

• 2-5 years related experience working in similar capacities.

• Sound knowledge of government regulation
