Recently, the company has expanded its portfolio to the education sector on a project with a development organization.

Short Description of the Position

Shayashone PLC is looking for a Logistics Officer who will be in charge responsible for providing the supply chain needs/requirements of the project including procuring all program supplies and services, accounting for all assets, managing stocks, and managing fleet concerns.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for administering import/ export documents

• Manage all bank and customs documents, ensure correctness and completeness in the process

• Responsible for administering customs clearance process

• Liaise with transit personnel, banks and customs for timely and efficient cargo clearance

• Regularly report status of cargo (incoming and outgoing) to the management

• Support local sourcing team in the process of moving goods towards company shipping point

• Responsible for handling all operational issues such as permits form agricultural authority, phytosanitary assessment, labeling and related tasks

• Arrange transport for inbound and outbound cargo

• Execute other related tasks as requested

Job Requirements

Education

• BA Degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related fields

• 1-year experience in import and export, business development, agri-business, market development, and other related fields
