Job Description
· All inventory control management activities including stock control, order processing, documentation and reporting, stock counting, and liaising with concerned parties. Invoice and all relevant document
· Monitors and tracks the inventory flow to identify slow moving and dead stock.
· Coordinate inventory reporting of receipt and consumption activities
· Perform monthly reconciliations of physical inventory counts to system records, investigating and resolving any discrepancies identified.
· Prepare and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, excess stock, and potential obsolescence, recommending actions to optimize inventory levels.
· Implement and maintain internal controls over inventory to prevent loss and ensure integrity of stock and accounting records.
· Coordinate with external auditors during audits by providing necessary inventory records and explanations for inventory accounting methods used.
· Produces daily reports to ensure key critical areas of the stock system are controlled and any discrepancies addressed and resolved.
· Perform Calculate the stock balance and check it with the stock balance from the storekeeper and also compare it to the actual amount used for production.
· Construct data accumulation systems for cost accounting.
· Create and review the controls needed for data accumulation and reporting system.
· Carry any other duties as requested by your immediate supervisor.
· Contribute to maintaining a positive working atmosphere amongst all staff members.
· Show willingness to assist co-workers in various tasks when necessary, even when the tasks have not been specifically stipulated in the job description.
· Show respect for culture and religious beliefs towards amongst colleagues.
· Be willing to work overtime when necessary with prior approval from the CFO.
· Ensure that the HR is informed of any changes in contact information (telephone number or address).
· Responsible for the overall management of customer & Supplier account transactions and follow up periodically outstanding payments or collection.
BA Degree in Accounting
Minimum 6 years of experience
Computer skills is mandatory
