Currently, it has an External vacancy for the role of Quality Controller and is looking for passionate, capable, and competent candidates who are prepared to work with passion and focus.

The incumbent will report directly to the Quality Assurance Technologist and will be responsible for monitoring the quality control environment and conducting tests and analysis to control and ensure compliance with the quality requirements of products, processes, and packaging across the Supply Chain.

Key Outputs and Accountabilities

1. Control Quality in On-site produced preforms & closures– sampling and testing according to incoming inspection protocols.

2. Control Quality in Blown bottles– sampling and testing according to incoming inspection protocols.

3. Control quality in syrup making – sampling and testing is done according to required sampling methods and testing protocols (for simple syrup and final syrup)

4. Decisions are made, recorded, and communicated to the relevant personnel, regarding the release of simple and final syrup.

5. Control Quality in Water Treatment - sampling and testing are done according to required sampling methods and testing protocols.

6. Consumable stock is to be rotated to ensure use within the required date.

7. GLP and GMP requirements are interpreted and applied in the laboratory, test environment as well as the respective production environment.

8. Maintain Safety, Health, and Environmental Standards.

Job Requirements

First Degree in Chemistry/Chemical/Food Engineering or related field of studies with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
