East Africa Bottling S.C. a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa, is the sole bottler for Coca-Cola products in Ethiopia. We are very excited to invite qualified candidates who are prepared to work with passion and focus for the position of Quality Controller.

The job holder will be responsible for monitoring the quality control environment and conducting tests and analyses to control and ensure compliance with quality requirements across the Supply Chain. The role holder will report to Quality Assurance Technologist.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Control Quality in On-site produced preforms & closures– sampling and testing according to incoming inspection protocols.

• Control Quality in Blown bottles– sampling and testing according to incoming inspection protocols.

• Control quality in syrup making – sampling and testing are done according to required sampling methods and testing protocols (for simple syrup and final syrup)

• Decisions are made, recorded, and communicated to the relevant personnel, regarding the release of simple and final syrup.

• Control Quality in Water Treatment - sampling and testing are done according to required sampling methods and testing protocols.

• Consumable stock is to be rotated to ensure use within the required date.

• GLP and GMP requirements are interpreted and applied in the laboratory, test environment as well as respective production environment.

• Maintain Safety, Health, and Environmental Standards.

Skills, Experience & Education

First Degree in Chemistry/Chemical/Food Engineering or related field of studies with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in the manufacturing environment.
