Job Description

Contract Administration Planning & Monitoring Section Head is a person within a company who oversees the life cycle of contracts. They work on drafting, negotiating, and finalizing contracts with partners like vendors and customers.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Participates actively in formulating strategic plan of the organization.

  • Participates in the approval of annual work plan and budget of the organization participates in the performance evaluation of the organization as per the direction of the Engineering Department Manager.

  • Review and advise the department manager or the top management on contract documents of new projects before signing of the contracts and prepare sub contract agreements for critical and specialized sub-contractors

  • Identifies Critical checking points of projects and departments to maintain their healthiness

  • Ensures all changes to specifications, work scope, schedule and drawings are documented

  • Produces and submits companywide periodic performance report to the General Manager

  • Plans, manages, and oversees the daily functions, operations, and activities of the projects

  • Initiates project and/or company plan revisions if it is needed

  • Provide/Facilitate workshops and trainings on planning and monitoring

  • Manage and lead the checking and verification of all payment certificates (Interim & Final, as built drawings and final project completion certificates for projects.

  • Prepare Time and Financial claim for projects by keeping contemporary records every week from the projects or as they happen.

  • Preparation and follow-up price adjustment or price escalation documents for projects.

  • Lead and Organize records and valuations of Variation and Additional work in line with the requirements of the contract. Fix unit rate for the new items and get prior approval before submission to the consultant.

  • Initiate and organize advance, performance guarantee) for projects.

  • Lead and organize all of contractual matters in relation with request for approval, clarifications and acceptance of data with clients, consultants and other stake holders for contract administration related cases only.

  • Initiate and lead the formulation of standard crews, productivity outputs and standard utilization of materials for the projects during implementation period.

  • Maintaining complete records for the contract itself and establishing and maintaining contract documentation and approved contractual documents for projects and the company’s all policy and procedures, certificates and process forms.

  • Initiate, plan & monitor all works related to Quality Management System (ISO) at Head office and company profile, policy and procedures of the Engineering Department & Projects.

  • Actively manage and assist project engineers on contract administration related issues on the projects.

  • All other duties as required or needed.

Job Requirements

  • Qualification:- BSC/MSC Degree Civil Engineering/COTM / or in a related field of study

  • Work Experience: 6-8 years related work experience.
