Naflet hotel is a top notch world class hotel located in Adama. Naflet Hotel has opened its door and has been serving its guests since October 2022. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare, implement, and monitor maintenance plans for building, vehicles, generators and equipment.

• Coordinate and manage the activities of hotel engineering and maintenance functions.

• Ensure the smooth flow of the entire hotel operations relating to his/her specific area of responsibility.

•  Facilitate and assist in the preparation of the goals & objectives for his department and assist other departments.

• Ensure the proper allocation and efficient utilization of resources to/within his department.

• Effectively deal with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel.

• Ensure the safety and security of the hotel, its employees, and its customers.

• Periodically report the maintenance needs to the general manager.

• Maintain building, equipment, vehicle and hotel surrounding area in sound working order.

Term of Employment: Permanent after successful completion of probation period

Reports to: General Manager 

Job Requirements

Required qualification

• BSc Degree or above in mechanical engineering or any related field from recognized institute is desired.

Experience

• At least five years’ experience as an engineering and maintenance manager, maintenance supervisor and/or head in a three- or above-star level hotel.

Additional Skills

• Competent and capable to function in an individual and a team setting

•  Ability to work under pressure.

•  Willingness to work extended hours and on holidays.

• Ability to assist in computer hardware and printer maintenance

• Good human relation skill

Language proficiency

• Good command of spoken and written English is required.
