Under the supervision of the Field Program Manager, the Finance Officer will be responsible for maintaining and managing accounting activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Finance
Processing financial transactions
Work closely with the Senior Finance Manager and Field Program Manager to ensure smooth operation and compliance with the organization’s finance standards and deadlines.
Maintaining accounting records, filing systems, and computer files
Scanning finance documents and loading them into the shared drive as required
Prepare Bank reconciliations when required
Handling, processing, and reconciliation of petty cash, cash withdrawals, and deposits
Assist in preparing and reviewing all the supporting documents for the finance transactions to ensure full compliance with internal audit and company requirements,
Plan, organize, and manage your workload to ensure your contribution to the organization’s monthly financial reporting process is achieved in a timely and accurate manner
Support the year-end procedure and preparation for external audit.
Processing payment and reports
Any other duties that may be deemed appropriate for this role
consolidate financial information.

Job Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Finance &Accounting, Economics, or relevant field.
Minimum 4 years’ experience directly related to financial management or accountancy, preferably with an international organization (NGO)
Active knowledge of English language writing and speaking
Proficiency in financial Accounting software like Cost-Point, Sun System & MS Excel and MS Word as well as good grasp on Internet and email communication.
Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.
