Branch managers oversee the management of one or several bank activities. They set policies which promote safe banking operations, ensure the economic, social and commercial targets are met and that all the bank departments, activities and commercial policies are in compliance with legal requirements. They also manage employees and maintain an effective working relationship among the staff.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Plans organize, directs, and controls, through subordinate supervisors, the banking activities of the assigned branch.
Prepares and submits for annual approval budget and annual work plans and implements same upon approval.
Ensures that established operating policies and procedures are carried out with respect to acceptance of deposits, making of loans, providing safekeeping facilities, and receiving and paying out of cash.
