Job Description
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare bid documents as per the guidelines and select the appropriate advertising media to address the right provider.
Float tenders collect bid documents and prepare relevant paperwork for evaluation by the evaluation committee.
Ensures completeness/compliance of all requests of goods/services before they are processed.
Complete and forward purchase orders or contracts to suppliers or consultants; negotiate and follow up as required.
Prepare standard award letters for the nominated suppliers in consultation with the Procurement Department Head.
Ensure procured items and services meet the stated standard/requirements including the delivery time and distribution schedule.
Establish a Procurement tracking system and monitor procurement activities including the dispatch of procurement documents.
Organize transportation facilities, and storage, and manage information accrued from points of origin to delivery as required.
Assist in the selection and evaluation process of the potential supplier by preparing price comparisons every year.
Maintain comprehensive procurement records including an up-to-date supplier list.
Ensure procurement processes are in line with the standards and guidelines.
Develop, monitor, and execute a Procurement Plan, monitor vendor performance, and track completion of deliverables.
Support on other tasks when required and any other related tasks assigned by the line manager.
Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Procurement and Supply Management or related fields

Working experience: 5+ years experience in related fields
